An installation art piece in the shape of a butterfly sits in front of the "Paper Dome" in Puli Township, Nantou County in this recent photo. The dome, designed by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban, has a fiberglass exterior and 58 paper columns, each 5 meters tall. It was first erected in Kobe following the 1995 Osaka-Kobe earthquake in Japan and was relocated in 2005 to Puli after that township was hit by a devastating magnitude 7.3 earthquake on Sept. 21, 1999.
