Distinguished Chinese linguist Mei Tsu-lin dies at 90

Mei Tsu-lin (梅祖麟), a leading scholar in Chinese historical linguistics, passed away on Oct. 14 in the Ithaca City, New York at the age of 90, Taiwan's Academia Sinica announced Friday.
