Taipei, Aug. 18 (CNA) More than 100,000 people visited stands in a park in Osaka, Japan, over two weekends to get a taste of Taiwanese culture, according to the organizer.
The event, titled "Taiwan Plus 2025" and organized by the government-funded General Association of Chinese Culture, featured a market with Taiwanese food and cultural products held at Nakanoshima Park on Aug. 9-10 and Aug. 16-17 from 3-9 p.m.

Now in its sixth edition, the event was held in Osaka in 2025 to coincide with the 2025 World Expo, which was also hosted in the western Japanese city.

This year's Taiwan Plus extravaganza was the largest since the inaugural edition in 2018, the organizer said.
