Taiwan's economy remains sluggish but leading indicators improve

The local economy remained sluggish with an index gauging the economic climate flashing another "yellow-blue" light in July, at a time when the global economy was slowing down amid escalating trade conflicts between the United States and China, the National Development Council (NDC) said Tuesday.
