Son of Japanese victim of 228 Incident to be compensated

The Taipei High Administrative Court ruled Wednesday that the son of a Japanese man believed to have been killed during the military suppression of a major anti-government uprising in Taiwan in 1947, known as the 228 Incident, should be paid NT$6 million (US$180,180) in compensation.
