CAL cancels flight to southern Japan in wake of strong earthquake

China Airlines (CAL), Taiwan's largest airline company, has canceled its flight on Sunday from Kaohsiung to Kumamoto in southern Japan, in the wake a magnitude 7.3 quake early Saturday that forced the shutdown of the airport in that prefecture.
