Tainan mayor urges China to 'have confidence' to talk to DPP

Tainan Mayor Lai Ching-te (賴清德) urged China on Sunday to have confidence to engage in exchanges with Taiwan's ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) instead of looking at the pro-independence party through the eyes of the pro-China Kuomintang (KMT).
