Tang Prize winners for GLP-1 discovery share approaches to scientific research

Three scientists — Joel Habener, Svetlana Mojsov, and Jens Juul Holst — have been awarded the 2024 Tang Prize in Biopharmaceutical Science for discovering that GLP-1 (7-37) stimulates insulin and can be used to develop medication to combat diabetes and obesity.
