Taiwanese donate supplies to help Ukrainian refugees

In less than 10 days after Taiwan’s foreign ministry launched a public donation drive for Ukrainian refugees, it received 50 metric tons of supplies, including sleeping bags, thermal clothing, milk powder and medicines. The supplies were donated by ordinary people in Taiwan, who wanted to extend a helping hand to Ukrainians displaced by the Russian invasion of their country since late February. The first batch of donated supplies was shipped Thursday to Slovakia, where it will be distributed to Ukrainian refugees there.
