Taichung, Feb. 13 (CNA) Several people were reported injured following a suspected gas explosion at a Shin Kong Mitsukoshi department store in Taichung's Xitun District, fire officials said Thursday.
Update 2: 4 dead, 20 injured in Taichung mall blast
The Taichung Fire Bureau received a report of the blast at 11:33 a.m. and firefighters and ambulances were immediately dispatched to the scene, the bureau said.
The number of casualties has yet to be confirmed, but several people have been reported injured.
