Hundreds stranded in central, southern Taiwan in wake of Typhoon Khanun

Nearly 500 people were stranded in mountainous villages across central and southern Taiwan after days of torrential rainfall caused by Typhoon Khanun, the Central Emergency Operation Center (CEOC) said Saturday.
