Storm Khanun strengthens; more time needed to predict impact on Taiwan

Tropical Storm Khanun is gathering momentum and could be upgraded into a typhoon early next week as it moves closer to Taiwan, but more time is needed to see whether the storm will have a direct impact on the country, the Central Weather Bureau (CWB) said on Saturday.
