Justice ministry pushes for bill to toughen transfers to minimum security prisons

Taiwan's Ministry of Justice (MOJ) on Monday called for the immediate passage of a bill in the Legislative Yuan to tighten the rules to make it harder for prisoners to be transferred to minimum security facilities amid a controversy over a recent case which critics said was treated too leniently.
