Heavy rain advisories issued for 11 counties, cities in Taiwan

The Central Weather Bureau has issued heavy rain advisories for several cities and counties north of Chiayi County, saying those areas will see short but powerful spurts of rain due to northeasterly winds and a weather system from southern China.
