Taiwan authorities euthanize 154 smuggled pet cats

Quarantine officers in southern Taiwan on Saturday put down 154 pet cats that had been smuggled into the country two days before on a fishing boat, according to the head of the Kaohsiung branch of the Bureau of Animal and Plant Health Inspection (BAPHIQ).
