Temperature in Taitung's Dawu Township hits national record again

The mercury rose to 40.2 degrees Celsius in Dawu Township in the southeastern country of Taitung at around midday Saturday, reaching the highest temperature on record in Taiwan's history for the second time, according to the Central Weather Bureau (CWB).
