The Central Weather Bureau (CWB) lifted its land and sea warnings for Typhoon Mitag on Tuesday morning after the storm, which straddled Taiwan's eastern and northeastern coasts from Monday afternoon to early Tuesday, left 12 people injured and thousands of homes temporarily without power.
