Pilots could halt strike plan, continue negotiations with airlines

Pilots from China Airlines (CAL) and EVA Airways said Wednesday that they are prepared to shelve a plan for strike action and enter long-term negotiations with management, as both sides have begun substantive talks on their concerns under government mediation.
