Death toll rises to 40 in southern Taiwan earthquake
Taipei, Feb. 9 (CNA) The number of people who died in a magnitude 6.4 earthquake that struck southern Taiwan early Saturday had risen to 40 as of 7:30 a.m. Tuesday, according to official figures.
