Kaohsiung takes dramatic step to fight dengue fever

Desperate to exterminate mosquitoes spreading the dengue virus, the Kaohsiung Department of Health on Monday flooded drainage systems in two dengue fever-affected wards with sea water, hoping it will kill the insects.
