Korean actress Lee Young-ae to be given charity award next year

South Korean actress Lee Young-ae will be awarded the Love of Lives Medal, an award from Taiwan's Chou Ta-Kuan Cultural and Educational Foundation, for her generous donation in July to help a Taiwanese family stranded in Seoul pay off a hospital bill to return home, the foundation's founder announced Wednesday.
