Revisions to divisive mobilization act not finalized: Presidential Office

Proposed revisions to a national mobilization act are still being discussed and have not been finalized yet, a Presidential Office spokeswoman said Wednesday, after the opposition Kuomintang (KMT) threatened to block the legislation due to concerns over media freedom and the mobilization of young students during wartime.
