Tainan City Council Speaker Chiu questioned in vote-buying probe

Newly-elected Tainan City Council Speaker Chiu Li-li (邱莉莉) has been brought in for questioning by prosecutors investigating allegations of vote buying, following a search of the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP) politician's home by a multiagency task force Tuesday.
