Ex-official recalls 'unpleasant' talk with U.S. after Lee Teng-hui's 'two-state' theory

Former National Security Council (NSC) Deputy Secretary-General Chang Jung-feng (張榮豐) said in a talk show that Washington had had an issue with Taipei after then-President Lee Teng-hui (李登輝) suggested Taiwan and China be two different jurisdictions in 1999.
