Taipei mayoral candidate vows to reintroduce monetary gifts to seniors

Taipei mayoral candidate and former health minister Chen Shih-chung (陳時中) on Monday vowed to reintroduce financial stipends to the Taiwan capital's seniors for the Double Ninth Festival if elected into office.
