Election commission clears petition to recall pro-independence lawmaker

A motion to recall Legislator Chen Po-wei (陳柏惟) of the pro-independence Taiwan Statebuilding Party has been approved, and a vote has been tentatively scheduled for Aug. 28, the Central Election Commission (CEC) said Friday.
