Cabinet proposes one-time child subsidy of NT$10,000 as COVID relief

The Cabinet on Sunday put forth a plan to offer families with young children a one-off subsidy of NT$10,000 (US$357) per child, as part of a COVID-19 relief package that is currently under discussion, according to a government spokesperson.
