Lawmakers depart for Taiping Island to defend sovereignty
Taipei, July 20 (CNA) Eight lawmakers from the ruling Democratic Progressive Party and opposition Kuomintang (KMT) departed for Taiping Island in the South China Sea on Wednesday with the aim to reassert Taiwan's sovereignty there.
