The governor of Japan's Miyagi Prefecture, Yoshihiro Murai, is scheduled to visit Taiwan later this month to promote bilateral exchanges and express gratitude for Taiwan's assistance in the wake of a powerful earthquake that struck northeastern Japan on March 11, 2011.
