AIT confirms President Ma does not hold U.S. green card

The American Institute in Taiwan (AIT) has confirmed in writing that President Ma Ying-jeou does not hold permanent residency in the United States, his spokeswoman said Thursday, calling for an apology from the opposition politicians who had been criticizing Ma on the issue.
