Former Chinese leader remains highly influential: HK paper

Two recent high-profile public appearances by former Chinese President Jiang Zemin indicate that he remains highly influential in the power center of the Communist Party of China, the Hong Kong-based Ming Pao newspaper said Saturday, citing an analyst.
