Veteran pop singer Yang Hsiao-ping dies at 79

Yang Hsiao-ping (楊小萍), also known as Yang Xiao-ping, a popular Mandopop singer in Mandarin-speaking society in the 1960s and 1970s, has died at the age of 79, her younger brother Yang Ching-huang (楊慶煌), an actor, said through his agent on Tuesday.
