MAC urges Beijing not to 'misjudge' voting results

The Mainland Affairs Council (MAC) urged Beijing Sunday not to "misjudge" the results of Taiwan's local elections and referendums, in which the opposition Kuomintang (KMT) crushed the ruling Democratic Progressive Party (DPP).
