U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex market

Taipei, July 20 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.040 to close at the day's low of NT$32.248.

Turnover totaled US$2.471 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$32.280, and moved to a high of NT$32.436 before falling back by the end of the session.
