U.S. dollar closes sharply lower on Taipei forex market

Taipei, July 8 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell sharply against the Taiwan dollar Wednesday, shedding NT$0.111 to close at NT$32.032.

Turnover totaled US$1.35 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$32.150, and moved between NT$31.963 and NT$32.185 before the close.
