U.S. dollar closes lower on Taipei forex market

Taipei, Jan. 26 (CNA) The U.S. dollar fell against the Taiwan dollar Monday, shedding NT$0.070 to close at NT$31.508.

Turnover totaled US$1.317 billion during the trading session.

The greenback opened at NT$31.500, and moved to a low of NT$31.410 before rebounding to the closing level, the highest for the day.
