TSMC says plan to build fab in Europe still under study

Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC), the world's largest contract chipmaker, said on Monday that it was still studying the feasibility of setting up a fab in Europe in response to a media report which said the company will build a plant in Dresden, Germany.
