Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC) retained its title as the world's largest contract chipmaker in the second quarter of 2022 with a 53.4 percent share of the global pure-play foundry market, according to the Taipei-based market information advisory firm TrendForce Corp.
