The production value of the local manufacturing sector is expected to rise by more than 6 percent from a year earlier and hit a record high in 2022 as Taiwanese tech exporters will continue to benefit from strong global demand and massive investments, according to the government-sponsored Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI).
