Hon Hai reportedly to build IC packaging, testing plant in China

Taiwan-based Hon Hai Precision Industry Co. will build a joint integrated circuit (IC) packaging and testing plant in Qingdao, in eastern China's Shandong Province, as part of the manufacturer's efforts to enter the semiconductor industry, according to Chinese media reports.
