TSMC gains approval to set up 12-inch wafer plant in China
Taipei, Feb. 3 (CNA) Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co. (TSMC, 台積電), the world's largest contract chip maker, has obtained approval from the Taiwan government to build a 12-inch wafer plant in China, the Investment Commission said Wednesday.
