Average worker in Taiwan was paid NT$636,000 in 2013: report

Average compensation per employee came in at NT$636,000 (US$20,880) in 2013, with workers in electricity, gas, finance and insurance sectors earning higher than average while those in education earned relatively less, according to a government report published Tuesday.
