Vice President Wu Den-yih resigns as KMT vice chairman

Taipei, Dec. 1 (CNA) Vice President Wu Den-yih resigned his post Monday as vice chairman of the ruling Kuomintang (KMT) in a show of taking responsibility for the party's utter trouncing in the Nov. 29 local elections.
