Nature of cross-strait ties unchanged after Ma-Xi meeting: scholar

Andrew Nathan, an East Asian studies professor at Columbia University, said Saturday that a meeting between Taiwan's President Ma Ying-jeou (馬英九) and Chinese President Xi Jinping (習近平) has not created any changes in the nature of cross-strait relations.
