Taiwan's Army on alert as Typhoon Danas nears

Taiwan's Army Command Headquarters has raised its emergency response level as Typhoon Danas intensifies and moves closer to the island. It said troops and equipment are on standby across areas likely to be affected, with liaison and intelligence officers deployed to local governments.
