Exhibition documents the Rolling Stones’ Bandung legacy

The Rolling Stones are easily one of the most iconic bands of all time, but their excesses have left a one-of-a-kind legacy in Bandung, an Indonesian city with roughly the same population size as Taipei. Here the word “Jagger” has come to mean “troublemaker” and the band members are worshipped as heroes of the slums. These compelling cultural phenomena are documented at “Rocking Indonesia,” a multimedia exhibition running until Oct. 27 at the Cube Project Space in Taipei.
