Formosan black bear prowls shed in Chiayi

An adult male Formosan black bear, estimated to be about 160 centimeters tall, was seen prowling around a shed in Dabang Village, Alishan Township, Chiayi County, on Saturday. Its movements were captured by an infrared monitoring camera installed by the Forestry and Nature Conservation Agency's Chiayi Branch for three consecutive days, from New Year's Day through Jan. 3.
