Taipei, Jan. 24 (CNA) Streaming giant Netflix has postponed professional climber Alex Honnold's free solo climb of Taipei 101 until Sunday because of unfavorable weather in Taipei on Saturday.
"Due to weather, we are unable to proceed with today's #SkyscraperLIVE event," the company wrote on X (formerly Twitter) about 30 minutes before the originally scheduled 9 a.m. global livestream.
The event has been rescheduled for 9 a.m. Sunday.
According to Taiwan's Central Weather Administration, rain is forecast in Taipei on Saturday, with temperatures ranging from 15 to 20 degrees Celsius.
The weather is expected to improve on Sunday, with partly sunny skies and temperatures between 16 and 22 degrees.
