Taipei, Dec. 25 (CNA) Taipei Zoo said Thursday it has prepared Christmas gifts to "share the festive spirit with both animals and visitors."

Keepers and volunteers handcrafted unique "environmental enrichment" items, designed to encourage the animals to explore and promote their natural behavior, the zoo said in a Facebook post.

"The items not only offer fresh sensory experiences for the animals, but also allow our staff to showcase their creativity," the zoo said.

The zoo invited the public to visit and experience the warmth of the year-end holiday and welcomed visitors to share their observations of animals interacting with the enrichment items.
