Typhoon-triggered rains ease water supply issues in southern Taiwan

Water restrictions and alerts in the drought-stricken Chiayi and Tainan areas have been lifted or eased after downpours unleashed by Typhoon Khanun replenished the biggest reservoir in southern Taiwan.
